School Council


Our School Council are the elected representatives that approve the policy and programs implemented at our school and ensure that the funds provided by the parents and the Education Department are correctly utilised. This group comprises of elected parents and staff. We try to make our meetings as efficient and friendly as possible. Information for parent school councillors is sent home via e-mail on the Friday before the meeting. Our School Council meets on the last Wednesday of each month. Meetings begin at 7.00pm. We encourage parents to stand for election, as being a school councillor is a very positive way to be involved in our school. Elections to fill vacant positions are held during February / March. School Councillors are elected for a 2-year period. School Council information is included in our weekly newsletter and displayed on a noticeboard near the office.
